1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Diagnostics Laboratory Services (Pty) Ltd ("DLS Diagnostics", "we", "us", "our") services, including but not limited to laboratory testing, specimen collection, results delivery, appointment bookings, and any digital platforms operated by DLS Diagnostics. By accessing our services or submitting a sample, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

DLS Diagnostics provides pathology and diagnostic laboratory services. Our services are available to individual patients, healthcare practitioners, clinics, hospitals, and corporate clients in Zimbabwe.

• Services are provided subject to sample quality, test availability, and equipment status.
• DLS Diagnostics reserves the right to decline or cancel any request that cannot be fulfilled to the required standard.
• Results are issued for the specific sample submitted and the specific test requested only.

3. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments may be booked by phone, WhatsApp, or through our website. Bookings are subject to availability at the selected branch.

• Please arrive at your scheduled time. Late arrivals may be rescheduled.
• Walk-in patients are welcome subject to capacity.
• DLS Diagnostics may reschedule or cancel appointments due to operational requirements, and will endeavour to notify patients in advance.

4. Sample Collection & Pre-Test Requirements

Certain tests require fasting, specific timing, or other preparation. It is the patient's responsibility to follow all pre-test instructions provided. DLS Diagnostics will not be liable for inaccurate results arising from failure to follow preparation guidelines.

Samples must be submitted in appropriate containers and within required temperature and time limits. Samples that do not meet quality standards may be rejected and a new sample will be requested.

5. Results & Reports

• Results are reported to the requesting clinician or directly to the patient as instructed.
• Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on test complexity and third-party referral requirements.
• DLS Diagnostics accepts no liability for clinical decisions made on the basis of laboratory results. Interpretation of results is the responsibility of the attending clinician.
• Results are valid only for the sample and date of testing. Repeat testing may be required for monitoring purposes.

6. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless a prior arrangement has been made. DLS Diagnostics accepts cash (USD and ZiG), medical aid, and approved corporate accounts.

• Medical aid patients are responsible for any shortfalls not covered by their scheme.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
• No refunds will be issued for completed tests. Where a test cannot be performed, the patient will receive a credit or refund at DLS's discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, DLS Diagnostics shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the use or inability to use our services. Our total liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos, images, and design, is the property of DLS Diagnostics and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
